 As a native, Brenda is committed to the heritage and preservation of the quality of life in the Shenandoah Valley. She has been a licensed REALTOR since 1978 and is active in the local Staunton Augusta Association of REALTORS serving on the Community Services and Awards committee, and at the state level serving on the Communications, Cultural Diversity and the Awards working groups. She continues to learn new aspects of the business by continuing her educational pursuits. She has a Certified Buyers Representative and Graduate of the REALTORS Institute designation and is working towards her Certified Residential Specialist designation.
As a member of the Economic Development Committee of the Staunton Downtown Development Association se is involved in and cares about the growth and prosperity of Historic Downtown Staunton. She is also a member of the Beverley Manor Garden Club and the StauntonAugusta Art Center.
Her hobbies include gardening, working in different art mediums, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and Emme, the family Maltese.
 Art's background in real estate began in 1972 when he was first licensed. He became a licensed broker in 1978 and was the Principle broker for his family company, Canning Land Company Inc,. Growing up farming and raising registered Angus cattle makes Art a good resource for those interested in land and farming.
Art and Brenda have been married since 1967 and have 2 sons, Chad and Trey. They live in Staunton and enjoy working together :-)
